The Capstone Dashboard is the main landing page for students, coaches, instructors, and administrators in Capstone.

The Capstone Dashboard consists of three main elements:

1. A Dashboard content item
2. The Dashboard content type
3. Views used on the dashboard.

The website should have one Dashboard content item. If that item gets deleted, users will see a 404 error when they try to get to the Capstone Dashboard.

You can check for the presence of the Dashboard content by the following:

1. Log in to https://byucapstone.byu.edu
   1. If the gray menu bar is not showing on your browser click on the Manage menu at the top left of the browser window. This will open the gray Administrator menu bar.
2. Click on the Content tab on the Administrator menu.
3. Filter by content type Dashboard.
4. There should be one and only one entry of type Dashboard, with a title Dashboard.

If there is not a Dashboard content item, add one by doing the following:

1. Click the Add Content (blue) button on the Content page.
2. Click the Dashboard title on the Add content page
3. Type Dashboard in the Title block
4. Click the Save button
5. Click the Edit tab on the Dashboard node page
6. Click the URL Redirects link on the left side of the page (between Revision information and Authoring information)
7. Click on the Add URL redirect link
8. Type dashboard in the Path box
9. Click Save
10. Click on the BYU Capstone logo to make sure the dashboard works properly
