Capstone Project Wiki

The Wiki is subject to being moved at some time in the future (it's already been moved once in the past). In order to facilitate this relocation, we use URL redirection at byucapstone.byu.edu to get to the wiki.

In order to create a persistent link to a Wiki page, do the following:

1. Go to the wiki page, and copy the URL beginning with the question mark, e.g. for this page you would copy ?id=help-wiki:oustide_links_to_wiki_pages
2. Go to the URL field of the hyperlink you are trying to enter and type https://byucapstone.byu.edu/wikis
3. Paste the tail end of the URL you copied in step 1 to the end of the link from step 2. Thus, for this page, you would have https://byucapstone.byu.edu/wikis?id=help-wiki:oustide_links_to_wiki_pages
4. Test the link to make sure it works.

To create a link to the capstone textbook, use the following:

https://byucapstone.byu.edu/Mattson_Sorensen.pdf#page=NN , where NN is the page in the pdf file. You can find the page number by going to https://byucapstone.byu.edu/Mattson_Sorensen.pdf and scrolling to find the proper page number.
