A written exam on the fundamentals of product development will be given each semester.

The Fall semester exam will focus on Opportunity Development and Concept Development.

The Winter semester exam will focus on Subsystem Engineering and System Refinement.

The exams will be approximately 75% machine scored and 25% free-response. The exams will be given on Learning Suite per the fixed schedule and time listed there. Check Learning Suite for exact dates.

The machine-scored elements will test your understanding of the theory taught in the book and class discussions. The free-response elements will test your application of the theory to your Capstone project, and will be graded by a Capstone TA.
