Each year Capstone teams select and order team shirts through the Capstone office. We want all Capstone students and coaches to have a team shirt to be used when visiting your sponsor, during formal presentations, and for team photos. Having a team shirt will give a professional look and unique identity to each team. The shirt will have the Capstone logo embroidered on it in the shirt pocket area. You are free to choose the color and style of your shirt from SanMar

The Capstone program will spend up to $20 per student to purchase a shirt for each member of your team. The final approved Team Shirt Checklist is due in the Capstone office (344 EB) by the date shown on Learning Suite. The Team Shirt Checklist can be found on your Box folder under Class Documents/Forms.

Your liaison may request up to two shirts that will be provided by Capstone. If the sponsor would like additional shirts, we request that they be paid for by the sponsor.

• Every team member and coach should have a shirt of the same style and color. If your team consists of both genders, choose shirt styles available in both women's and men's fit.

• Choose a collared shirt to reflect team professionalism, (i.e., polo or dress shirt)

• Your team name will be embroidered on the left chest. The Capstone logo will be embroidered on the sleeve.

• Team shirts are paid for by the Capstone administration budget, not your project budget.

• Each team has a maximum budget of $20.00 per shirt at SanMar.

• If a team wishes to purchase a shirt that costs more than $20.00 from SanMar, the excess cost must be covered by each team member individually before the shirts will be provided.

• You may purchase shirts for your team, your coach, and if requested by the liaison, up to two members of the sponsoring company.

• The setup and stitching fees for embroidery will be covered by the Capstone administration budget.

• Visit the SanMar website to find a shirt that is desirable to your team.

• If you have both women and men on your team, select a style that has an option for each gender.

• Complete all the steps on the Team Shirt Checklist, ensuring that all the requirements are met.

• Fill out a Capstone Order Request, following the instructions found in Purchasing and Travel for Online Orders.

Note: In order to fill out this request you must have successfully completed the Purchasing Qualification Exam Your order request should have the following:

• One line item for each unique size among team members and the coach
• Additional line item for each sponsor shirt (if needed)
• Shirt style number and brand in the part number field
• Shirt size, color, and team member names (first name plus last initial) in the description field of each line item

• Submit the Capstone Order Request.

• After submitting the Capstone Order Request, turn in the completed Team Shirt Checklist at the Capstone office no later than the date shown on Learning Suite.
